Through Polysil Alu, the NALUCOAT process was designed for making environmentally sustainable and recyclable aluminum components. By cold vitrification of surfaces using Polysil, also known as “liquid glass,” aluminum fabrications can be made by eliminating galvanic processes.
The NALUCOAT process makes it possible to produce products with distinctive characteristics with multiple advantages:

NALUCOAT process on aluminum profiles
The treatment, including the polishing or satin finishing, pre-coating and coating processes, provides elements in aluminum alloy or magnesium alloy that are completely recyclable and recoverable. The parts, at the end of their life, can be remelted or recovered by reprocessing them, eliminating the coating with a Sodablasting process.
Polysil Alu is compatible with the circular economy, as it allows easy separation from aluminum and is also easily recyclable as it is made up of silicon dioxide which is similar to common glass, furthermore by eliminating the need for galvanic baths it allows to use less energy in the process and to eliminate the use of highly polluting components (Chromium, Nickel, etc.)
